Geometric control software for underground mining tunnels

Tunnel Tools turns processed geometric data into an organized workflow for reviewing cross-sections, quantifying differences and communicating technical decisions in tunnel projects.

Illustrative Tunnel Tools technical profile sheet

From 3D capture to executive decisions.

Tunnel Tools goes beyond the profile. Geometric results can be consolidated in a Dashboard and executive reports so engineering, planning and management share one view of tunnel development.

Geometric intelligence

Photogrammetry, LiDAR laser scanning, point clouds and 3D models: as-built versus design profiles, chainage, overbreak, underbreak, areas, volumes and traceable deliverables.

Executive intelligence

Dashboard and Management Report: indicators, tracking by section and chainage, executive summaries and history to communicate results across field teams, the technical office, engineering and management.

Capabilities

A traceable technical workflow

The module brings together tasks that are often spread across models, spreadsheets and drawings while maintaining a clear focus on tunnel geometric control.

01 · Cross-sections

Tunnel profiles

Organize cross-sections from the available geometry for technical review.

02 · Comparison

As-built versus design

Compare the surveyed section with the defined design criterion to identify geometric differences.

03 · Measurement

Overbreak and underbreak

Support area and volume calculations using the project information and parameters.

04 · Delivery

Technical results

Prepare outputs for review and coordination without replacing responsible professional validation.

05 · Tracking

Chainage navigation and longitudinal analysis

Review successive profiles, their references and floor and roof trends along the tunnel section.

06 · Integration

Supported compatibility

The current scope integrates with Agisoft Metashape Professional 2.3.1 and uses information available in the project.

07 · Documentation

DXF and reports

Prepare CAD files and report formats to support technical review and coordination.

08 · Control

Analysis traceability

Retain references such as alignment, chainage and geometric source so results can be followed back to their origin.

09 · Quantities

Volumes and quantity calculations

Organize measurements derived from cross-sections for verification within the technical process.

PRODUCT AND SERVICES

The software is the product; additional work is agreed separately.

The proposal defines the licence scope. Implementation, onboarding or additional support are not presumed to be included.

PRODUCT

Specialized software module

Tunnel Tools Professional is a specialized software module for Agisoft Metashape Professional 2.3.1. It processes and organizes geometric analyses, profiles, as-built/design comparisons, areas, volumes and technical outputs.

Commercial licence

Authorize use of the software

The commercial licence authorizes use of the product for the period, computers and scope defined in the proposal. Included capabilities depend on the agreed licence option.

03 · OPTIONAL SERVICES

Coordinate additional work

Implementation, onboarding or support needs beyond the agreed licence scope can be coordinated and quoted separately according to the project.

Tracking and geometric indicators

Executive Control Dashboard

Consolidate processed information to review geometric status, compare sections and explore chainage without interpreting every individual profile from scratch.

  • Processed profiles and analyzed length.
  • Overbreak and underbreak areas and volumes.
  • Longitudinal trends and review by section and chainage.
  • Comparable campaign history and sections for the team to review.

Management Report

Summarize the section status, main deviations, indicators and graphical evidence. The report preserves the analysis context and communicates approved technical conclusions to decision-makers.

  • Section, chainage range and analysis references.
  • Geometric results and relevant sections.
  • Changes between comparable campaigns, where history is available.
  • Indicators, graphical evidence and conclusions reviewed by the responsible professional.
